Callyope is building the first clinical AI for psychiatry.

We built the identity around Core, a warm orb that takes information in and shifts colour as it works: reassuring, a little mystical, closer to an ancient deity than a clinical instrument. Its 3D form allows for fluidity as much in shape as in colour, to represent the diversity of data and mental conditions it computes.

The palette is soft and warm, built on pastels chosen to reassure and to invite frequent usage as a safe place.

And that was the whole point: psychiatry runs on short visits spaced weeks apart, and on a patient's memory of a stretch they were not well enough to record. Everything in between is lost, and it is usually where the deterioration happened. The app exists to make that stretch visible, and it has to get there by asking people to show up daily, or on a set cadence, since depression flattens motivation and mania scatters it. So we've made the app ask for very little, and feel like play with gamified daily tasks and pleasant interactions.

We also reworked the clinician dashboard, built upon a singular shared design system, and solved specific UX challenges tied to patient history visualization and how thresholds are set.
